2 For accounts opened prior to 30 March 2008, GlobalPlus Advance is available to the nominated earner as at 30 March 2008 while they are the nominated earner. For accounts opened after 30 March 2008, GlobalPlus Advance is available to the original nominated earner while they are the nominated earner.

If the Cardholder holds more than one GlobalPlus branded card, she / he is only entitled to GlobalPlus Advance for the card which has the higher GlobalPlus Advance limit. Airpoints Dollars earned after the Advance are first applied to repaying any negative Airpoints Dollars before contributing to any positive Airpoints Dollars balance. The cardholder cannot use GlobalPlus Advance (or any unused portion of it), and has 12 months to repay the Advance, once s/he ceases to be the nominated earner or Air New Zealand withdraws GlobalPlus Advance. Failure to repay the Advance will result in Air New Zealand closing the cardholder's Airpoints membership account and Air New Zealand reserves the right to recover the monetary value of any outstanding Advance.
